I use Excel to manage my properties. Is it hard to switch?

Not at all. You can add a property, tenant and lease in a few minutes, and add previous rent payments if you want to build up your rent history. If you already have your property records in Excel or another spreadsheet, get in touch and we'll help you move them over.

Can I manage properties I own personally and through a company?

Yes. You can have different ownerships under the same PropDesk account and keep their properties separate. So if you own some properties personally and others through a limited company, you can manage them all from one login. You can also add multiple companies or other ownership entities.

Yes. PropDesk gives you a rent ledger for each tenancy, so you can see what's been paid, what's due and what's outstanding without maintaining a separate spreadsheet. You can also add past payments to keep a complete rent history.

Yes, and there's no charge for tenants. Each tenant gets access to a secure web portal where they can view their balance, access their lease and submit maintenance requests with photos. There's no app for them to download.

Yes. You can log maintenance and repairs against a property, update their status and keep a record of work that's been done. Tenants can also report maintenance issues through their portal and attach photos.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in the EU. PropDesk's app and database run in Frankfurt, Germany, with backups in the same region, and uploaded documents are stored in EU-based storage. You can also export your data or delete your account when you choose.

Yes. Your records aren't locked into PropDesk. You can export your data whenever you need it, whether that's for your own records, reporting or to work with your accountant.
